Application:
UNITRONIC® Li2YCY (TP) is especially suitable for transmission of long distance
signals and is used where screening is required in addition to low capacitance.
It is used for wiring data systems for transmission rates of up to 10 Mbit/s and
is suitable for interfaces RS 422 and RS 485. Cables of this type are intended
for flexible use and for fixed installation in dry and damp interiors.
Note:
For an improved screening in addition to low cable capacitance, we recommend our
UNITRONIC® Li2YCY PiMF. | | | |

Application:
UNITRONIC® Li2YCY (TP) is particularly suitable for wiring
From data systems at transmission rates up to 10 Megabit per second. Cables of
this kind are designed for fixed installation in dry and damp interiors and for
conditional flexible use.
The UNITRONIC® Li2YCY (TP) model with reinforced black outer sheath (Yv) is
suitable for inside and outside use as well as burial in the ground.
Note:
For data transmission with more demanding requirements regarding crosstalk
attenuation and where electrical interference from cable circuits may be
considerable, we recommend use of UNITRONIC® Li2YCY PiMF, see p. 337, with
screened pairs. For optimum earthing of the braiding, we recommend using of our
screwed earthing connection, see page 428 ff., 434 ff., 452 ff. and 473 ff.
